02What we collect
When you join the waitlist or contact us
- Name and email address.
- Your message, if you write one.
- Your consent, the page you sent it from and the date.
When you buy Altair Pro
Our reseller collects the billing details needed for the payment, such as name, email, country and payment method. We receive your name, email, plan and license status, never your full card details.
When you activate a Pro license
The site address, the license key and basic technical data (WordPress, PHP and Altair versions) so we can deliver updates and check the license.
When you browse the site
Our servers record standard technical data such as IP address, browser and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. Your language choice is remembered in your own browser.
03How we use it
- To reply to your messages and send the waitlist and launch news you asked for.
- To deliver your purchase, license, updates and support.
- To keep the site and our services secure and working.
- To meet legal and accounting duties.
We don’t use your data for advertising and we don’t build profiles about you.
04Legal bases
We process data based on your consent (waitlist and newsletter), the contract with you (purchases, licenses and support), our legitimate interest in keeping our services secure, and legal obligations (invoicing and accounting). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
06How long we keep it
- Waitlist and newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last conversation.
- Purchase and invoicing records: 5 years, as accounting law requires.
- Server logs: for a short period, then deleted.
07International transfers
Our servers are located in the United States, and our team works from Bolivia. When data moves between countries, we protect it with the same care and the safeguards required by law.
08Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw your consent. Write to privacy@altairsites.com. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
09Security
We use encrypted connections, restricted access and regular updates to protect your data. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will tell you without undue delay.
10Children
Altair is meant for businesses and professionals. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 16.
11Changes
We will post any change here with a new date and, if it matters for you, tell you by email.
