01Requirements

  • WordPress 6.6 or later (tested up to 7.1).
  • PHP 8.1 or later.
  • Optional: WooCommerce for stores, Elementor if you build with it.

02Install Altair Lite

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New, upload the Altair ZIP file and click Activate. Once it’s in the WordPress.org directory, you’ll be able to search for “Altair” there.

After activating, open Appearance → Altair to see the theme panel and the next steps.

03Choose a visual profile

Go to Appearance → Customize. A visual profile changes colors, typography, spacing and width together, with live preview. Pick one close to your brand, then fine-tune the colors.

04Use a starter design

From Appearance → Altair, choose one of the 8 starter designs. Its pages are imported as drafts, so nothing on your live site changes until you publish. Replace the sample texts, photos and contact details with your own.

The demo content is fictional. Replace names, quotes, prices and images before publishing.

06Activate Altair Pro

Install the Altair Pro plugin from Plugins → Add New → Upload, activate it and enter your license key. A new Altair Pro menu appears with Dashboard, Business profile, Visibility, Leads and Convert.

07Fill in your business profile

Open Altair Pro → Business profile and add your services, hours, areas, contact details and common questions. This one profile feeds everything else: structured data, llms.txt and the answers AI assistants can give about you.

08Turn on AI visibility

In Altair Pro → Visibility, publish the structured data and the llms.txt file, and choose which AI crawlers can visit your site. If you use Yoast SEO, Rank Math or All in One SEO, Pro detects it and completes its data.

09Capture leads

Add the contact form anywhere with the shortcode [altair_contact_form]. Every message is saved in Altair Pro → Leads before any email is sent. In Altair Pro → Convert you can set up email delivery and WhatsApp click tracking.
