01Who we are
Altair is a product of HostDron, a web hosting company based at Calle Mario Flores esq. Yapacaní, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use altairsites.com, download Altair Lite or buy Altair Pro (together, “Altair”).
By using Altair you agree to these terms. If you buy on behalf of a company, you confirm you can accept them for that company.
02The products
Altair Lite
A free WordPress theme, released under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPL). You can use it on as many sites as you want.
Altair Pro
A plugin that adds modules to Altair (such as Visibility and Convert). It is sold as a yearly subscription that includes updates, new modules, cloud services where they apply, and support, for the number of sites in your plan.
03Your license and sites
Each Pro plan includes a license key for a number of sites: Pro, 3 sites; Business, 10 sites; Agency, 1,000 sites. A site is one production domain where the license is active. Local and staging copies don’t count.
You can move a license from one site to another by deactivating it first. Licenses are for your own sites or your clients’ sites; you may not resell or share license keys.
04Prices, renewals and founder pricing
- Prices are in US dollars per year. Taxes are added at checkout where the law requires it.
- Same price at renewal. While your subscription stays active, it renews at the price you first paid. If you let it lapse and buy again later, current prices apply.
- Founder pricing. The first 500 customers from the waitlist get 40% off every plan, for as long as their subscription stays active without interruption.
- Lifetime licenses. Offered only to founders, limited to 150 licenses. A lifetime license includes updates and support for the life of the product, with no renewals. Cloud services with usage costs may have their own limits, shown before you buy.
- We may change prices for new customers, for example when we add a major module. Changes never affect an active subscription.
05Payments and renewals
Purchases are processed by our authorized reseller, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing and taxes. Its own terms also apply to the transaction.
Subscriptions renew automatically each year so your sites don’t lose updates. We send a reminder before each renewal, and you can turn automatic renewal off at any time from your account.
06Cancellation and expiry
You can cancel at any time. If your subscription ends, Altair Pro keeps working on your sites, but updates, new modules, cloud services and support stop until you renew. Your content and settings stay yours.
07Refunds
Every purchase has a 30-day money-back guarantee. The details are in our Refund Policy.
08Support
Support is included while your subscription is active. What it covers and how fast we answer is described in our Support Policy.
09Acceptable use
Don’t use Altair or altairsites.com to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, send spam, or attack our systems or license checks. We may suspend licenses used this way.
10Intellectual property
The software is licensed under the GPL, so you are free to use, study and modify the code. The Altair name, logo, website, documentation, demo content and demo images are not part of the GPL release and remain ours. Demo images are licensed only for previewing the demos.
11Third-party services
Altair can work with third-party tools such as WordPress, WooCommerce, SEO plugins, email services and AI assistants. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for how they work, change or describe your business.
12No warranty
We work hard to make Altair reliable, but it is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee that it will be error-free, that it will fit every need, or any specific result in search engines, AI assistants or sales.
13Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to Altair is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or data.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for important changes, notify customers by email before they apply.
15Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to another venue.
